This vintage hat pattern dates from the 1950s and is an Easy to Make Russian or Cossack Wedge Shaped Hat knit in a pattern to simulate Persian Lamb. It is made using 2 strands of yarn held together and is sized to fit Youths or Adults. For a varigated look, 2 different shades/colors may be used.
YARN: Knitting Worsted 2 skeins, each 2 oz
NEEDLES: 1 pair Number 7 (American No.6)
TENSION: 3 1/2 stitches and 5 rows to one inch measured over pattern on No. 7 needles, or any size needles that will give the correct tension.
